To answer this question I first have to say that I often find it difficult to obey authority figures who I feel are not justified in terms of the ways they lead others. Yet, I strongly agree that we all need leadership but leaders should be chosen democratically and their methods should be open to public critique. I am inspired by passionate enthusiasm, and by optimism (nice generic answers, I know). I'm also very inspired when I see people speak out about things that matter to them, and speak up when they see wrong doings in the world. People working in both a smart and hard manner, and people working towards perfection inspires me a lot. I think there is a scarcity of leaders working for good causes.
